Accurately forecasting financials of real estate deals with advance excel modeling
I have experience building and maintaining detailed financial models in Excel to evaluate real estate investment opportunities. This includes creating proformas and discounted cash flow (DCF) models that projected development costs, lease-up timelines, operating income, and exit assumptions over multi-year horizons. I integrated market data, construction budgets, and financing terms to produce dynamic, deal-specific analyses that could be easily adjusted for sensitivity scenarios. These models served as the financial backbone of my firm’s investment strategy, helping to assess feasibility, determine land valuations, and support internal underwriting and external investor presentations.
